I hated everyone before it was mainstream—I was doing it back when it was still underground, before all the casual haters showed up and made it trendy. Now everybody’s walking around saying they “can’t stand people,” but where were they when I was pioneering the movement, rolling my eyes at humanity before it was cool? I’m basically a vintage misanthrope—limited edition, original pressing, hating the crowd since before the crowd even knew it deserved it.
